We will work together to curate the vibe that you are looking for. I do a mix of more posed photos and candid shots.
We will run, jump, snuggle and play. Some of the most precious moments are captured when you are feeling your most relaxed self. Children aren't made to sit still, we'll incorporate movement and fun throughout our time together to create authentic, joyous moments that I know you will love.
The PNW can be unpredictable to say the least! We'll talk about weather and what you are comfortable in. Some families don't mind the rain, some prefer to stay warm and cozy!
With this in mind I typically work with clients to find their ideal weekend for their session. This way, as the weather changes we can adjust to the best weather day if needed.
We will be in touch in the week leading up to our time together as well as day of in case we need to make last minute adjustments.
Short answer? Something you feel comfortable and confident in!
If you need or want help I am happy to consult on colors and patterns for you and your family.
I provide edits to your images that are true to an artistic style as well as help you look your best. I typically make small adjustments to smooth out skin, remove blemishes, bruises or scars if desired.
I do not alter bodies, shapes and sizes. What you look like is probably one of the least interesting things about you; your love, your humor, your intelligence are FAR more monumental in who YOU are!
Many clients enjoy annual photos as a way to capture the growth and variety of seasons the PNW has to offer.
I recommend clients, especially with small children, have images taken for their family about every 18 months.
Not at all. I love it when clients do, but it is in no way required. If you are wanting to print elsewhere I will typically offer suggestions for labs that I have worked with in the past that a long standing reputation of high quality.
I want you to LOVE your photos; often drug store prints aren't going to print true to color or with consistent high quality.
